Startup Hardcotton stellt Elemental vor – SLA Drucker unter Druck

Hardcotton, ein australisches Startup, wird in kürze eine Kickstarter Kampagne für Elemental starten.

Elemental ist der erste per Druck-gesteuerte SLA 3D-Drucker im Consumer Bereich. Über Druck Sensoren steuert er so die Zufuhr des Resins. Das heißt der 3D-Drucker muss nicht mühsam kalibriert werden. Dieser soll unter 700€ kosten.

Diese Einfachheit soll SLA 3D-Druck für viele Leute verfügbar machen, die sich nicht mit der Technik hinter dem 3D-Drucker beschäftigen wollen, sondern drucken wollen.

When you use Elemental you aren’t faced with a daunting set up and you don’t need to worry about fiddly calibration procedures. All you need to do in setting up Elemental is to ensure that the printer is level, with its adjustable feet, then simply fill it up with printing material and it’s ready to go.

Über mehrere Ausgleichs- und Steuerbecken wird das Harz in den Druckraum geführt. Der Drucker weiß über Drucksensoren immer genau wie viel Harz im Innenraum ist.

Die Kickstarter Kampagne soll im Q3 dieses Jahres starten. Der Preis wird unter 1000 AUD liegen, das sind ca. 700€.
