Materialise hat einen Franchisevertrag mit Ultra Clean Technologies (UCT) unterzeichnet, um mit der Online Plattform i.materialise in den südostasiatischen Markt zu expandieren.
UCT ist ein globaler Anbieter im Bereich Contract Manufacturing mit einem weiten Spektrum an Produktionssystemen. Die Partnerschaft ermöglicht beiden Unternehmen mit der 3D-Druck Technologie in die Produktionsauslagerung zu expandieren. Dabei soll die bereits erfolgreiche Plattform i.materialise nun auch den asiatischen Markt erobern. Für die Produktion wird das UCT Additive Manufacturing Center in Singapore zuständig sein und bringt die Fertigung somit näher an den Kunden. Das Service wird ab dem ersten Quartal 2015 verfügbar sein.
