Sketchfab bietet nun animierte Vorschau für 3D-Modelle an

Sketchfab kündigt eine neue Dimension für seine 3D-Modelle an, welche ab sofort auch als animierte Vorschau auf die Plattform hochgeladen werden können.

Das neue Feature wird derzeit noch mit Beta Testern, die sich hier anmelden können, erprobt, soll aber schon bald für die gesamte Community verfügbar sein. Die animierten Modelle werden als FBX Format hochgeladen.

Laut Sketchfab war die Animationsvorschau eines der gefragtesten Features unter den Usern. Dazu CEO Alban Denoyel:

“Animation support is a huge step for Sketchfab as a product, it’s pretty much a 4th dimension. It means you can now tell mini interactive stories and share them anywhere online. We want to be the best place for your 3D files, so we will continue to improve Sketchfab as you push creative boundaries. I can’t wait to see what you show and tell with animations!”
