3D Systems ProJet® 1200 Micro SLA 3D Printer – Update: 5 neue Materialien

3D Systems (DDD) präsentiert mit dem ProJet 1200 einen neuen Micro SLA 3D-Drucker.

03.12.2013 – Der neue ProJet 1200 verwendet das Stereolithografie Verfahren, bei dem UV-empfindliches Kunststoff über eine Lichtquelle zu einem 3-Dimensionalen Objekt gehärtet wird.

Der ProJet 1200 verwendet dafür eine neue all-in-one Patrone mit integrierter “curing cell” und soll bereits ab $4900 erhältlich sein. Alle notwendigen Nachbearbeitungsschritte sollen im 3D-Drucker selbst erledigt werden.

Der ProJet 1200 verfügt über einen Bauraum für Objekte in der Größe von 43 x 27 x 18 mm und schafft eine Auflösung von 585 dpi. Das Gerät selbst ist dabei nicht größer als eine Kaffeemaschine. Die Materialzuführung erfolgt über eine VisiJet FTX “all-in-one” Patrone.

Als Zielgruppe nennt 3D Systems Juweliere, Zahnlabore und Designer von sehr kleinen Produkten.

This revolutionary micro-SLA ProJet 1200 delivers unmatched part accuracy and surface smoothness. With a 43 x 27 x 180mm (1.69 x 1.06 x 7.08 inches) print volume, the Projet 1200 prints 30 micron layers at a 585 dpi resolution resulting in fine feature-details reflecting true-to-CAD accuracy. This printer uses 3DS’ new VisiJet® FTX Green material – a durable and rigid material that is tailored for plastic prototyping and casting patterns, making it ideal for jewelers, dental labs, and designers of very small detail products such as collectibles and electronic component parts. The all-in-one cartridge enables efficient and safe printing while the integrated curing cell allows the Projet 1200 to deliver ready-to-use parts.

3D Systems (DDD) vermeldete soeben die unmittelbare Verfügbarkeit des ProJet 1200 Micro SLA 3D Drucker. Die Geräte seien ab sofort im Fachhandel zum geplanten Preis beziehbar.

Update: 24.11.2014 – neue Materialien für ProJet 1200 verfügbar

3D Systems bietet ab sofort fünf neue Materialien für den ProJet 1200 SLA 3D-Drucker an. Für den Guss wird nun FTX Cast angeboten und speziell für den Guss von Schmuck gibt es nun ein eigenes VisiJet FTX Gold und Silver. Zusätzlich kommen FTX Gray und Clear für Prototypen hinzu.
