MakerBot schließt Partnerschaft mit Autodesk

Der amerikanische 3D-Drucker Hersteller MakerBot, verlautbarte eine neue Partnerschaft mit dem Software Hersteller Autodesk.

Künftig sollen 3D-Drucker aus dem Hause MakerBot (ab dem Replicator 2) mit Autodesk 123D zusammenarbeiten. So soll es künftig möglich sein, Druckaufträge direkt aus der Autodesk App zu den MakerBot Geräten zu schicken. Im Gegenzug soll der Verkauf von 3D-Drucker auch über die Autodesk Plattform 123Dapp.com forciert werden. Weitere Kooperationen sind geplant, wurden aber noch nicht bekannt gegeben.
