Die Produktionszentren in Troy, Michigan und Huston werden zu ExOne Adoption Center (EAC) ausgebaut und für deren Strategie geändert.
Die Rolle der Center als reine Produktionsstätten für 3D Druck Dienstleistungen muss weichen und soll mit der neuen Rolle als Adoption Center potentielle Kunden direkt ansprechen.
ExOne CEO, Jim McCarley:
“We completed a market assessment of where we stand with industrial customers’ desires for binder jet 3D printing. We see the North American market adoption rate of sand printing technology accelerating. Contributing to this, our S-Max platform, which has been designed with an expanded binder and base material configuration, is well positioned for growth in this area. Our goal with the EACs is to create the proper support and service structure to ensure we sustain the market’s momentum.”
Im Rahmen dieser Umstrukturierung wird auch die Niederlassung in Las Vegas geschlossen und deren Fertigungslinien auf die Center in Troy, Michigan und Housten aufgeteilt.
