Our Berlin office is growing steadily, and our People Operations team in EMEA is keeping pace.
In this particular role, you will bring more structure into our day-to-day business by proactively proposing and executing solutions to challenges we encounter in our People Operations team. If you’re looking to develop your knowledge and skills to become an HR professional, we want you as our Head of People Operations (w/m/d)!
This role is based in Berlin, Germany, and we have a hybrid working from home model.
Your challenges:

Lead the People Operations Team across EMEA: Berlin, Budapest and Paris (currently 4 employees)

Be a primary point of contact for People Ops related queries from senior management in Berlin, Budapest and Paris

Collaborate with our Boston HQ on strategic and operational initiatives for the EMEA region

Assist in the development and implementation of people-related policies
-
Liaise with external partners such as our EOR partners, lawyers, tax advisors, insurance and healthcare vendors to ensure legal compliance

Act as a back-up to our HR Generalist on topics such as visa applications, contracts, payroll, on-boarding and off-boarding
Your profile:
-
You already have some solid HR experience under your belt, and some experience leading a team
-
Are fluent in English and have advanced German language skills
-
Love being the voice of your team members as much as consulting upper management on key issues

You are enthusiastic not only about strategic long-term HR projects but also about operational tasks

Solid understanding of German labour law and can propose solutions for almost all employee issues

Have good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
Bonus Skills:

Passion for 3D printing and emerging technologies

Experience in rapidly-growing startup environments
-
French or Hungarian language skills are advantageous
