Dubai kündigt Internationales 3D-Druck Zentrum an

Kurz nachdem Scheich Muhammad bin Raschid Al Maktum Dubais 3D-Druck Strategie bekannt gegeben hat, unter der bis 2030 ein Viertel der Gebäude in der Stadt der Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate mittels additiver Fertigung hergestellt werden sollen, verkündet die Dubai Holding die Eröffnung eines Internationalen Zentrums für 3D-Druck.

Das neue Zentrum wird in der Dubai Industrial City entstehen und ein zentraler Standort für 3D-Design- und Technologie-Anbieter sowie Fabriken und Forschungseinrichtungen sein. Ziel des Projektes ist es ein Netzwerk aus unterschiedlichen Unternehmen in der 3D-Druck-Industrie zu schaffen, das sowohl Entrepreneure und Innovatoren als auch internationale Unternehmen mit speziellen Laboren für die additive Fertigung unterstützt. Außerdem soll das Zentrum professionelles Training, Dienstleistungen, Einrichtungen und anderen logistischen Support anbieten um den Sektor zu stärken.
