Ein Team von Doktoranden der USC Viterbi – School of Engineering veröffentlicht eine neue Arbeit über ein modulares Labor für Micro Flüssigkeiten.
Mit dem 3D-gedruckten Labor können geringste Mengen von Flüssigkeiten geschüttelt, vermischt, gemessen und analysiert werden. Das kleine Labor kann dabei wie Lego Steine zusammengebaut werden und auf die bestimmte Anwendung angepasst werden.
People have done great things with microfluidics technology, but these modular components require a lot less expertise to design and build a system,” said Malmstadt. “A move toward standardization will mean more people will use it, and the more you increase the size of the community, the better the tools will become.
