Arcam AB kauft Titanpulver Hersteller
Der 3D-Technologie Hersteller und Entwickler des Elektronenstrahl Schmelzverfahren (EBM) Arcam AB erwarb den Metallpulver Hersteller AP&C des kanadischen Unternehmens Raymor Industries.
Die Transaktion wurde für umgerechnet etwa € 24 Millionen beschlossen und sichert Arcam AB den Zugang zu hochqualitativen Titan Pulver. AP&C produziert seit 2006 Titanpulver mithilfe der Plasma Atomization Technologie und beschäftigt derzeit 29 Angestellte. 2013 soll ein Umsatz von €4,47 Mio. erwirtschaftet werden.
