LEAP-1C Triebwerk bekommt Zulassung von FAA und EASA

CFM, das Joint Venture von GE Aviation und Safran bekommt die Zulassung von der U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) und der European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) für das LEAP-1C Triebwerk.

Das Triebwerk ist das neueste Triebwerk mit der mittlerweile berühmten 3D gedruckten Einspritzdüse, die auch in GE´s Triebwerken verbaut wird.

Allen Paxson, Executive Vice President bei CFM:

Everyone, from the project and engineering teams to manufacturing and our suppliers, has done an incredible job of keeping this program on schedule and building an engine that is delivering everything that we have promised.”

Das Triebwerk wird auf ausgewählten COMAC C919 Flugzeugen eingesetzt werden.
