Hershey und 3D Systems wollen gemeinsam Schokolade drucken

Heute wurde bekannt, dass sich der US-amerikanische Schokoladenhersteller Hershey (NYSE:HSY) mit 3D-Druck beschäftigen will. Hierfür wurde eine Partnerschaft mit 3D Systems (NYSE:DDD) geschlossen.

Die 1894 gegründete Firma Hershey ist einer der weltgrößten Schokoladenhersteller. Vor allem in der USA ist das Unternehmen führend. In einer Pressemitteilung teilte nun der 3D-Druck-Spezialist 3D Systems mit, dass mit Hershey eine Partnerschaft geschlossen wurde um gemeinsam an gedruckte Lebensmittel zu arbeiten. Hierbei soll nicht nur mit Schokolade, sondern auch mit anderen Nahrungsmitteln experimentiert werden.

Erst bei der CES 2014 in Las Vegas stellte 3D Systems mit den ChefJet einen Lebesmittel 3D Drucker vor.
